Journalism
What Can I Do With A Major In Journalism?
Journalism is the gathering, analyzing, and disseminating of socially relevant information in a consistent, transparent, and honest way. Journalists deal with events at the local, provincial, national and international levels and gather information through interviewing, investigation and observation; the results of which are turned into a fair and balanced story for publication or broadcast. As tellers of true stories, journalists play a key role in our society.
Newspapers, magazines, television, radio, cable television, the news agencies and wire services, publishing, and public information services, are but a few of the many areas in which these graduates will find career opportunities.
