Since returning from a recent move, I have served on the IT Committee, stepping in for an English department member who had retired, and I am at present an alternate representing part time faculty for the Faculty Senate. I would like to be of use to a subcommittee for the Faculty Senate and have experience in planning and budgeting through leadership in the service community.

University Planning and Budget Committee (to be elected: 1 SUOAF-AFSCME)

NAME & CONSTITUENCY STATEMENT
OluwaToyin Awoderu (Center for International Education, SUOAF-AFSCME)

Toyin Awoderu's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Ogun State University, Nigeria (1990), a Master of Science in Microbiology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria (1992), and a Master of Business Administration from CCSU,(2006). This diverse personal and educational journey provided her with a well-rounded foundation to excel in roles held within the institution.

Overall, Oluwatoyin Awoderu's extensive experience, dedication to understanding diverse perspectives, and commitment to advancing institutional goals make her a valuable asset.

Kathleen Sullivan (Health Services, SUOAF-AFSCME)

I would like to nominate Kathleen for UPBC. She has been at the university for 7 years and has seen the changes that have taken place at CCSU over the years. She also has a keen understanding of the budgetary processes that take place at the university and has a sound working knowledge of common sense practices. She has worked in areas outside of CCSU and brings that knowledge with her here. I believe she would make a great addition to the team.
