Our next Campus Open Forum with President Miller will be held tomorrow,
Tuesday morning, 10 March, from 9:30 to 11:30, in the Connecticut Dining

February 4 discussion about the Center for Student Success, to address
the budget situation facing the University and the State, and as an
opportunity for informal communication and conversation between the

questions, concerns, and suggestions.

I have asked Paul Karpuk, chair of the Curriculum Committee to
investigate whether a Liberal or General Studies Major is warranted by
changes in admission requirements for some programs and majors. Paul,
in turn, is turning the question over to the chairs of the five
subcommittees concerned with Central’s undergraduate curriculum:

Shelley Bochain, from the School of Education and Professional Studies
subcommittee
