SUBJECT: Exceptions in Department Evaluation Committees

In accordance with Article 4.11.4 of the AAUP/BOT contract, I request Faculty Senate approval of the following exceptions for Department Evaluation Committees for the 2008-09 year:

Computer Electronics and Graphics Technology: Professor James Mulrooney (Biomolecular Sciences) will serve as a member of this DEC as well as an ex-officio member of his home DEC.

Design (Graphic/Information): Professor Serafin Mendez-Mendez (Communication) will serve as a member of this DEC. Also, Professor Joan Calvert (Computer Science) will serve as a member of this DEC as well as her home DEC.

Finance: Professor Jane Stoneback (Accounting) will serve as a member of this DEC as well as her home DEC.

Social Work: Professor Margaret Martin (Social Work, ECSU) will serve as a member of this DEC.

Technology and Engineering Education: Professor Alfred Gates (Engineering) will serve on this DEC.

I hope the Faculty Senate will approve these exceptions at its meeting of September 8, 2008. Thank you.
