Homecoming is Almost Here! 

The biggest Central alumni celebration of the year kicks off next week and you won’t want to miss it! This is your final reminder before the festivities begin. 
 
We are especially excited for The Eras Celebration on Friday night.  Held outdoors in the heart of campus, this event will feature decade-themed tents spanning the 1950s through the 2020s, complete with music, drinks, and nostalgic treats. Guests will enjoy cozy fire pits, creative photo opportunities, a variety of food options, and engaging experiences designed for alums of all ages!

Megan C. Torrey ’96, MS ’08

From the lecture halls of Central to the global stage, Megan has built a career defined by vision, strategy, and international impact. With both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in international studies from Central, Torrey has transformed academic insight into a powerful force for global engagement and community development. Since joining the World Affairs Council of Connecticut in 2003, Megan has risen through the ranks—from Program Director to Executive Director, and now Chief Executive Officer—leading the organization through a period of unprecedented growth and innovation.  Read more

The CCSU Alumni Association is proud to promote the CCSU Alumni Association Scholarship, offering meaningful support to the children and grandchildren of Central alumni.  The mission of the CCSU Alumni Association is to build lifelong connections among alumni and with the University, creating opportunities to give back, stay engaged, and share pride in Central’s mission and values.

Are you a Central Basketball Fan?  You are invited to the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tip-Off Event on Friday, October 24th from 6:00–8:30 PM at the Fireside Dining Room at Tunxis Country Club. 

Join men’s coach Pat Sellers ’91 and women’s coach Kristin Caruso for an evening of dinner, open bar, and Blue Devil spirit as they introduce their new rosters and share their outlook on the upcoming season. 
This special night is a great way to connect with fellow supporters and build excitement for the year ahead.
