A Brick, A Bond, and a Return to Central for Homecoming 2026!

When Todd Mattiello '89 and four of his Central roommates (Andy Bourquin '93, Mike Campisano '90, Mike Giusto '90, and Jim Giantis '91) decided to purchase a brick for the CCSU Alumni Pavilion, it wasn't just about leaving their names on campus. It was about celebrating a friendship that began at Central and has lasted for decades.
 
"My roommates and I have such great memories of our time at Central," Todd said. "We wanted to do something that showed our pride in the University while also commemorating the friendships that started here." For Todd, who now serves on the CCSU Foundation Board, purchasing a brick was an easy decision. It was an opportunity to support Central while honoring the lifelong friendships that began on campus. "This brick represents the people we met, the memories we made, and the connection we've kept all these years," Todd said.
The group is looking forward to reuniting on campus during Homecoming 2026, when they plan to see the CCSU Alumni Pavilion, find their brick, and spend the weekend reconnecting.
 
"We're all really excited to get back to campus," Todd said. "I'm looking forward to seeing the Alumni Pavilion come to life and finding our brick together. More than anything, though, I can't wait to walk around campus with my old roommates, laugh, share stories, and relive some of those great memories."
 
Make your Homecoming 2026 visit even more memorable by seeing your own brick on the CCSU Alumni Pavilion wall. Order your commemorative brick by July 16, 2026, to ensure it is installed before Homecoming. Bricks will remain available for purchase after July 16, with installation at a later date.
