The day's activities will include a welcome luncheon with University President Dr. Zulma Toro, followed by a mix of optional activities: take a guided campus tour, enjoy a planetarium show, or attend an engaging presentation led by distinguished faculty. Aaron Faucher '09, '13
From Study Abroad to EdTech: A Global Journey Grounded in Central
Aaron Faucher always had a curiosity for the world beyond his backyard. After earning his associate degree, he transferred to Central and began as a French major. But it didn’t take long for him to realize he wanted a broader global perspective. He switched his major to International Studies with a concentration in Western Europe, a decision that shaped the trajectory of his career.
While at Central, Aaron took part in three transformative study abroad experiences; one in London and two in France. He also interned at the World Affairs Council in Hartford and worked in Central’s Office of International Education while earning his master’s degree in international studies...
