Best Central concert ever: Your thoughts wanted!

When the Central Activities Network announced A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie as this year’s spring concert headliner, some of our staff (many of whom are alumni) started comparing notes on concerts they’ve taken in at Central. From the memorable Living Colour show in 1989 and a fabulous Violent Femmes performance in 1994 to Kesha’s 2021 concert held from a digital distance due to pandemic, many of us have fond memories of rocking out at Central. Did anyone else see 10,000 Maniacs or Remember Maya Angelou’s phenomenal reading?

So, we’re wondering: What’s the best concert — whether it was the annual spring concert or another time — you ever saw at Central? Send your concert memories to ccsunews@ccsu.edu and we’ll pull your responses together and report back.
